This year, Camp Make-A-Mini takes us to an Arts and Crafts Camp. Who wouldn’t love doing Arts and Crafts in an Arts and Crafts building? Just imagine a camp with Arts and Crafts style studios where you could learn any type of Art or Craft you could image. Would you like to learn Pottery? Woodworking, Painting? Weaving? Camp Make-A-Mini is the place to learn and this little rock and shingle covered studio will be the perfect setting.
Students will assemble, lay wood floors, create and install beautiful wainscoting, build windows and doors as well as learn to cover their building with rocks and shingles.
Techniques included: rocked wall exterior, shingling the easy way as well as basic assembly and finishing techniques
