The perfect way to kick-off Spring! Join Teeny Tiny Taylor Miniatures for a fun, hands-on miniature workshop where you’ll learn how to create your own mouth watering Caesar Salad (serving bowl and side plate) from polymer clay! No experience? No problem. Whether you’re a total newbie or a crafty pro, this class is all about getting creative, rolling, shaping and baking your way to this realistic salad miniature! The kits will allow you to make one complete set (with plenty of leftovers for more creations) and will include clay, chalk pastels, UV resin, paint, add-ins, 1:12 scale bowl and plate, and all necessary tools (exacto knives, sculpting tools, tile workspace, etc.) All you will need is an oven to bake your clay in and a UV light to cure the resin. We will use polymer clay and UV resin to achieve a realistic 1:12 salad.
Techniques will include:
sculpting, texturing and using pigments to shade clay, as well as discussions on color selection and tips and tricks to using UV resin.
