My love of miniatures started at a young age, but really came into blossom during my time in Architecture School. I loved being the 'model person' whenever we had a group project and I would put endless hours into the details of each structure. After graduating, I began working in the architecture field, staring at flat lines on computer screens all day, and found myself missing the hands-on experience of working on a structural model. I soon found a Theater Set Designer in Dallas who needed mini sets built as examples for the larger real life sets and I enjoyed every second of that! I moved away from Dallas after getting married and purchased my first dollhouse kit in my desperate search to find something to build! That dollhouse kit turned into the Addams Family Dollhouse that was featured in the Mini-Time Machine Museum in Tucson, AZ for 2 years! I currently work full time sharing my miniature making tutorials on YouTube and selling kits based off of my designs through the business 'Bentley House Minis'. I couldn't imagine having any other job!
