About Me, Shaun Crawford
I began my ”mini” adventures officially in 1998. My love for all things mini has been as long as I can remember. I would spend hours looking at dioramas in museums, and studying every tiny detail. Honestly, I still do! Knights and castles captured my imagination at a young age and I devoured any book or movie I could find about fantasy worlds. I wanted a castle more than anything, and that is how I became a miniaturist. Imagine my frustration when I went to my first miniature show and there were no castles! I was welcomed, (kidnapped) by an amazing group of miniaturists instantly, and my life has never been the same. They said, “If you want to build a castle, we can teach you.” They taught me and I have always taken every opportunity to share my mini world with anyone who wants to learn.
