Create a tiny tropical showpiece! In this live, hands-on online workshop, you’ll craft a realistic miniature sago palm from start to finish. Choose your preferred scale—1", 1/2", or 1/4"—and I’ll guide you step by step as we build together. Your kit includes laser‑cut leaves, wire, “soil,” a 3D‑printed pot, and illustrated instructions. By the end, you’ll have a beautifully detailed palm ready to compliment a conservatory scene, dollhouse, or any nook that needs a touch of miniature greenery.
Techniques included: In this class students will learn how to construct a sago palm, and paint the 3D printed pot it will be potted in.
Materials/Equipment Needed: Copic markers to color leaves (I will provide information prior to class about the colors used for the prototype), tacky glue, pointed tweezers, kemper ball stylus, large ball stylus, self hardening clay, mouse pad, wire cutter or scissors, clear acrylic matte finish, and various browns, and terra cotta acrylic paint.

Some experience with plant or flower making in any scale is helpful but not required.
