I made this 1:12 scale birthday card for Grandma's 90th birthday bash way back when! She loved bears and throwing epic parties. The celebration was a fun day, with everyone having a great time in the church hall. I thought this might be a good fit for the Birthday Challenge!

I made this birthday scene when I got the cute bottle. I kept this one and made another for a friend's birthday.

Here is a birthday scene I made using a cheap wood table from dollar tree. Everything on the table is made from paper.

This was made for my sister’s 70th birthday, for which our family gathered to celebrate in 1999. My sister, Virginia Hannon Williams, died March 3, 2011. For twenty-five years she was my companion in the miniatures hobby. She wasn’t a crafter, but she was an enthusiastic collector and very supportive of all my endeavors. She went with me to miniature shows, sales, exhibits, houseparties, regional events, and workshops. She encouraged me and helped me come up with ideas. If it had not been for her, I never would have become involved in this fabulous pastime.
This box was featured in the Spring 2000 issue of Miniature Gazette magazine.

I created this whimsical birthday party inside an Easter Egg for a local charity called the Chattery in Chattanooga, TN that has local artists create art eggs every year for a big egg hunt and fundraiser. It was their 10 year anniversary year so I was inspired to do a birthday party theme. The scene is in 1/4 scale and all parts of the scene were created by me.

I made this patriotic birthday scene using the NAME Day Cozy Corner kit along with items from the St. Louis convention and my stash. I named it the “Rollin’ on the River Cafe” in homage, and really love how it turned out!

The first picture is a party that was one of the first room boxes I ever assembled.
The second picture is one I made more recently. I purchased the table top, complete with everything for a birthday including mint cups and blowers, at a miniature yard sale. I think it must have been a store display for Chrysnbon kits. Everyone in our club was given a box to fill, and this fit perfectly!
I have to admit that the two scenes look amazingly similar!

I am excited to celebrate Create’s 5th birthday with these two photos from my favorite miniature home creation: the “Little House on Willow Tree Place.”
In the living room of the house we see preparations for a fabulous birthday celebration. A Victorian-style settee, made by Concord Miniatures, has a bouquet of birthday flowers laying across its seat. In front of the settee is a small Oriental table (made by Bespaq miniatures) with three presents and two champagne glasses, ready for a birthday toast. Nearby is a beautiful Bespaq tea cart, set with a Stokesy Ware Blue Willow china tea pot, creamer and plates on the tea cart, complemented with silverware made of real silver and purchased long ago in the Colonial Williamsburg gift shop. Best of all is the miniature birthday cake with candles – a Jason Getzan creation – which is ready to cut and serve.
Across the room (to the left of the magnificent Keith Bougourd-designed fireplace) is an Oriental-style chair laden with more gifts. A Harrod’s department store gift bag leans against a demilune table, upon which rests a miniature NAME greeting card.

For my 70th birthday all of my family went to Holden Beach for a week. I created this mini BD as a club project. It is quarter scale so it's hard to see the details. Inside this room everything is ready with cake & gifts but everyone is outside at the pool. looking out the window you can see my son-in-law jumping into the pool. We had a great time & this brings great memories to mind when I look at it.

Here is a photo of 2 birthday things I have made. The breakaway box I made for my mother in the early 2000's when she was in her 80's. People who came to visit her loved to look at it. The children liked to touch it. I fixed it at least once.
The second miniture is what I made out of the 3 round boxes we were given at a national convention.

I am currently obsessed with creating mini scenes inside scrubbie holders. With encouragement, I started a Facebook group for everyone to share their creations too!
I made this one as a birthday gift for a friend that loves frogs. (I didn’t create the contents though. Just supported other artists!)![]()

This is Mini Cousins' 1:48 scale "Celebration Box" kit, which I completed in August of 2021. This breakaway box is just so cute! It has all the birthday details. There's another table inside with more gifts.

In honor of NAME Create’s 5th birthday, here are two parties.
1. 1:144 scale party designed by Noreen Sands
2. 1:12 scale party that I started in 2009 at a Coeur d’Alene, ID workshop, but finally came up with the party idea in about 2017.

This is my very, merry, un-birthday so you can celebrate all year long! The TV, table, and food is from Raptoor. The Alice figures from Ginger Landon Siegel, and the "flower" from Michael Robbins. The Cheshire Cat is a pin. Happy Birthday Create!
