Soooo….what is your favorite type of witch? Evil, spooky, and poison apples? Or good, whimsical, and love potions? Halloween or Fairy Tale? Warts or not? Pointy hat or hood and cape? You decide Which Witch you want to make and which witchy hat or hooded cape she will wear.
Witches are the perfect project for a beginning doll sculptor and they’re one of the most fun projects a doll maker can do. I’ll walk you through the entire process of sculpting, assembling, and costuming a 1” scale witch. You choose her personality and finishing touches of her costuming. I’ll supply the clay, fabric, hair, patterns, and detailed written instructions. In addition, you will have the links to the videos for future reference.
On Friday evening we will sculpt the witch. Saturday afternoon we will assemble and dress her. I will show you simple, effective, methods of painting her, making her costume, and wigging her.
This is a fun class with a couple of surprises along the way.
