From Sabrina Ingalls:
So excited to have completed my first ever NAME Day Project. I turned it into a mini-version if my real-life workspace (Mostly Monsters, where I make and sell whimsical monster-themed goods), and of course HAD to include my 3 cats who are always "helping" me work in various ways!
My workshop includes my sewing supplies, Cricut & Sewing machines, sample merchandise, items being shipped, inspirations, and even lunch!

From Charlotte Randall:
My NAME Day kit is Equestrian Themed. The sides are: Side 1 - the front door of the barn; Side 2 - the Lobby area with a carved brooch on the wall and bag of carrots for the horses; Side 3 - the Tack Room, complete with farrier tools, halter and lead rope, and manure bucket, shovel & rake. There's even a trophy, ribbon and photo of me on my horse, Blue.

From Shannon Davis:
My kit has 3 gardens: Side 1 - Tuscan inspired Garden; Side 2 - English inspired Garden; Side 3 - Asian inspired Garden
Shannon is known for her ability to use all kinds of "found" items. Her own yard is a valuable resource for her. She even had to form a 'new' hand for the Buddha that was missing one.

These are my first NAME Day 2023 pictures. Since I’m the VP, I make the sample kit up for the club. I had so much fun with my gorgeous Aristocratic Attic pieces by Julia Stewart! I’m also working on another piece, since of course I had to buy a kit & be part of our club event! This one will be a Halloween theme.

From Suzanne Seiffert:
I combined several Bonnie Backe classes that I took at IGMA Castine over the years. There was a sewing stand, a woven screen, a tassel fringed footstool, and finally La Passementiere.
Also from Suzanne Seiffert:
I decided to use a necklace that I had for years that had Mexican items attached. I made Saguaro cactus after visiting Arizona 20 years ago and I made 3 baskets in Lidea Stroud’s class at Castine last June. This is perfect for showing them.

From Jeffrey Ritter:
The Raleigh chapter folks encouraged me to share my zen scenes. Simplicity was intended. Susan did a great job cutting the kit. I found the golden reclining Buddha among a lot of rescued dollhouses and it inspired the scene. The wall hanging is a miniature of one that hangs in my own yoga space. The garden includes a mini bonsai that was a gift from my daughters (I also maintain bonsai) and, well, Chinese take out and wine is the ultimate zen!
